Dayton-Phoenix sidewall cab heaters are designed to withstand the demanding railroad environment. The cover and heater element sheath are constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel to provide years of durable, maintenance free service. The heaters contain no moving parts for increased safety.

The sidewall cab heaters are an economical way to provide auxiliary sidewall cab heat for locomotive crews. They form a warm air barrier along cold cab walls.

Our sidewall cab heaters are available for new locomotives and retrofit programs and may be used in conjunction with existing hot water or electric heaters. Typically, two sidewall heaters are used per locomotive.
